Task Force Talent is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer with an active TS/SCI FSP security clearance to support a unique government contract. Our client for this role is a small company with both commercial and government sector customers. They work on very interesting, usually highly technical roles in cybersecurity, software development, data science, and related areas for well-known companies and government organizations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team to build, administer, and secure cloud environments, including hybrid environments
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new cloud tooling and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, project managers and other engineering groups
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to systems and platforms
  • Write and update technical documentation

Target salary range is $145k to $180k, depending on experience level.

All positions are full-time, in-office, usually in a SCIF.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI FSP security clearance. (Sorry, we are unable to sponsor or upgrade clearances for this role.)
  • 5+ years of related cloud experience configuring cloud VPCs, subnets, route tables, and gateways
  • Experience scaling applications written in Java, Python or other programming languages ,
  • Experience deploying code in AWS utilizing solutions such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
  • Experience working with cloud native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and/or Serverless cloud technologies
  • Experience securing cloud environments per NIST 800-53 security controls
  • AWS Certification: Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud technologies used with ETL and big data pipelines such as Glue, EMR, HIVE, Spark, S3, SQS, and SNS
  • Experience with Kubernetes or EKS

Interview Process

The process typically involves an initial phone screen followed by technical interviews. Contigent offers are usually made quickly, within a week or two. Depending on the level of experience and terms of the contract, additional interviews may be required with a prime contractor/partners or the end customer.
